Elise heads operations for Breakout and oversees the agency’s strategic direction. She served Breakout as Director of Strategy and Content for four years, spearheading brand strategy and establishing voice & positioning for more than 40 brands in financial services, healthcare, and technology.

Prior to Breakout, Elise was an independent copywriter and brand strategist for dozens of consumer brands, healthcare companies, and creative agencies. She worked in communications & operations at TGG Group (formerly the Freakonomics Consulting Group), and she has served hospital systems and schools as a speech language pathologist (CCC-SLP). 

She holds a BA in linguistics, with honors, from the University of Chicago and a MS in Communication Sciences & Disorders from the University of Oregon. She is also a fiction writer and an elected representative in the City of Philadelphia.
